Groupon's Long-Term Strategy

In spite of the rumors of offers and acquisitions, Groupon has continued to report on it's long-term plans, according to Mashable.com.

The company has announced its strategy for Groupon stores, physical locations that will host one deal per day in every city, along with Groupon's new Deal Feed, supplying consumers with a personalized stream of deals that will be constantly updated throughout the day.

Groupon says “We originally designed Groupon to account for the constraints of being a small company. Since we didn't have any merchant relationships, we limited ourselves to one deal per day. Today things are different – our biggest problem is that demand is so high, merchants often wait months to be featured.”
