USDA Export Sales; Beef and Pork

The USDA reported today that beef weekly export sales for the current year period ending January 5th totaled 900 tonnes. Accumulated exports for 2016 totaled 682,500 tonnes, up 12 percent from 607,600 tonnes exported in 2015.

Pork export sales for 2017 totaled 12,700 tonnes. Accumulated exports in 2016 totaled 1,029,800 tonnes, up 4 percent from 986,500 tonnes in 2015.
