Ares Completes Acquisition Of BlueCove

Ares Management Corp (NYSE:ARES) has completed its acquisition of London-based systematic fixed-income manager BlueCove Limited.

The BlueCove business will operate as Ares Systematic Credit, the company said in a press release.

Ares Systematic Credit is comprised of 60 professionals based in London and specializes in investment and portfolio management, research and engineering. The group will be led by BlueCove's CEO Alex Khein.

"The Systematic Credit strategy is underpinned by an experienced team of specialists, proprietary technology, and an investment approach informed by R&D."

Ares Systematic Credit offers systematic fixed-income strategies that use data and technology to deliver differentiated solutions to investors. 

Inclusive of BlueCove's approximately $5.5 billion of assets under management, the Ares Credit Group managed $397 billion of assets, as of Sept. 30, 2025.

"We look forward to expanding our offering and breadth of R&D activities in the systematic investment sector."
