iPad 2 Passcode Feature Not Secure, Can be Bypassed With Ease

Share:

Everyone loves the iPad 2 smart cover. But criminals love it the most.

That's because there is a flaw within the iOS software that allows you to get into an iPad and access the app that's currently running even if a passcode has been applied.

9to5Mac made the discovery and posted this video to show exactly how you can break into an iPad 2 (hopefully just your own!) without having to enter whatever multi-digit passcode has been created.

Calling it a “major security flaw,” 9to5Mac is hoping Apple releases a fix ASAP.
